Embedded System Engineer — 4G LTE Cat-M / NB-IoT modem platform
Developed production embedded C firmware for a resource-constrained 4G IoT modem platform running on eCos RTOS.
- Worked on 4G LTE Cat-M/NB-IoT modem firmware for Qualcomm chipsets used in low-power IoT devices.
- Designed and integrated low-power behavior including PSM/eDRX flows, wakelock handling, and timing-sensitive modem state transitions.
- Built multi-threaded service logic with POSIX pthreads, explicit stack sizing, scheduling priority tuning, and thread lifecycle control.
- Designed custom AT command handlers for network configuration, SIM management, band selection, and modem control features.
- Developed OTP firmware updater functionality for manufacturing mode and production programming support.
